Whilst some time has passed, Forever Friends Animal Rescue always endeavors to provide an update on animals whom people have helped rescue. You are one of those people.
You generously donated towards Mia the cat’s ear surgery. As you can see from the attached pic, she is absolutely stunning and very content in her forever home. Because of you, we were able to seek the treatment she needed and place her up for adoption.
Mia’s adopter provided us with this update:
“Mia was described as water loving, independent and not a lap cat. All of these have proved true, especially the water loving and independent. Stubborn, chatty and resourceful should be added to the list. She is the very definition of ‘curiosity killed the cat’ and has been found sticking out of boxes, in suitcases, cupboards and cars as a result of not being able to resist seeing what was inside. She also has the worst case of FOMO (fear of missing out) I’ve seen in an animal. No matter the number of people around, or what we are doing, she just must be involved or watching. It can take a very long time to change the sheets on the bed these days and everything is of course a game! I couldn’t be happier. She is a delight, a nutter and is slowly working her way towards becoming, sometimes, a lap-cat (much to my delight). It took her no time to settle in and she now runs the house. She is very clearly happy in her forever home. While one mad cat is enough for me I thank you and all the other volunteers for rescuing my Mia. If all the other animals you rescue bring as much delight to their new owners as Mia does to me, you have made some very happy families.”
Thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts for helping us to help Mia.
With love from the entire FFAR team x
