Luciano

Lu Lu, also known as Lucky Luciano, is a king among kittens! If your heart could grow legs and turn into a cat, that would be Lu Lu. Lucky to be alive, Lu Lu is the most engaging, loving kitten who lives to be cuddled. Lu Lu is the one surviving kitten in his litter (as befitted by the lucky horse shoe pattern on his back), who was a little odd ball but has now grown into his features and is thriving as a small, lively and vivacious kitten. Lu Lu’s adopter needs to be one out of the box because Lu Lu deserves and will give all the love in the world! Named after the well known Lucky Luciano mafia boss, Lu Lu will dominate your family too, but with love, affection and purring lullabies! Lu Lu was hand raised and incase you haven’t gathered, Lu Lu is a very special kitten. We welcome applications, but whoever ends up with Lu Lu needs to be one heck of a human being! Good luck (:

Lu Lu must haves:
1. Lu Lu MUST go to a home with another friendly cat or dog to keep him company, as he loves to make friends!
2. Lu Lu would love a family who doesn’t work full time so that he can have cuddles during the day.
3. Lu Lu needs to be allowed on the bed!
4. Lu Lu must be an indoor only cat.

Lu Lu is 15 weeks old but is small for his age which will suggest that he will be a smaller adult when fully grown.

Lu Lu is currently in foster care in Moonee Ponds and would love to meet his forever family very soon!

Ghost

Please read full bio – Ghost is an amazing dog but does have some health issues to be aware of.
Ghost is a pint-sized bouncy, energetic and affectionate English Staffy Mix. He gets along well with other dogs but would need to be the only dog in the house, as he has a tendency to “resource guard” his humans. He does not want to share his people and their pats! He is fine with full-time workers and is not destructive. For a senior boy he’s incredibly sprightly and loves going for his daily walk and a game of fetch or tug of war. He’s not suited to small children as he can get nippy and snappy when he’s overexcited – not at all in an aggressive manner but he does jump up into your face which could hurt or frighten littlies. He walks well on lead but does get overexcited when he spots another dog and will pull towards them to say hello. He is toilet trained, but has a tendency to initially ‘mark’ his territory in new places, particularly if there are other animal smells around, so you would need to be prepared for that and redirect him.

-Ghost is deaf, but it really doesn’t impair him! He’s very clever and knows the signals for “sit”, “stay”, “come”, and can be directed to a certain position e.g. to his bed/crate, in/out of an area. He is a food-motivated staffy and would be easily taught some other tricks if you took the time.
-Ghost is epileptic, and will need twice-daily medication for the rest of his life. Since being stailised on this medication he has not had a seizure for several months.
-Ghost also has some mild issues with his knees (patellas) but it doesn’t appear to cause Ghost discomfort; he still runs around like a 1 year old pup, can leap on top of tabletops (yes, naughty!) and has no problem keeping up on a hike. Our veterinary surgeon has classed his left knee as “Grade 1” and his right knee as “Grade 2” and doesn’t recommend surgery unless Grade 3 or 4 is reached. This may or may not occur, so would need to be monitored.

Lux

Lux is a beautiful, big, white rabbit who causes no troubles. She happily spends the day outside in her pen with plenty to eat. Lux is often found watching the passers by from her pen. She runs up to greet you when you come home, eagerly waiting treats and a pat. Her favourite treats are parsley, rocket, spinach and carrots.

Lux is good with children who will respect her. She doesn’t love being picked up, but happily receives a pat.

To keep Lux safe, she stays inside at night. She enjoys exploring her available spaces.

Lux goes to the toilet mostly in the corners of her pen. She’s very clever and doesn’t go in her bedding.

Lux really enjoys spending time with her family in a secure yard, where she can run, sniff, have a nibble and sleep!!

Lux looks forward to meeting her forever family.
