Pepper

About Charlie and Pepper
Charlie is a sweet and gentle boy. He can be a little shy at first but once he is comfortable in his surroundings he is very affectionate and loves human company. Charlie has an abnormal right eyeball, where his pupil does not contract normally in response to light, and is an irregular shape. He has been assessed by a vet and no health issue was identified, it is possibly a birth defect.

Charlie needs to be on a good quality wet/raw fed diet as he has trouble digesting dry food and can get quite constipated.
Charlie is otherwise a healthy and happy cat.

Pepper is a beautiful girl who will need a patient home to make her feel secure as she is still quite timid.

We think she hasn’t had much human contact in her life, as when she first came into foster care she was very afraid and would hiss and run away if approached. Pepper has since gained confidence but is still learning to trust humans and prefers to keep her distance.
Pepper’s safe place is her igloo bed, where she will allow you to give her a gentle scratch under the chin and trim her nails, she does not like to be picked up and held.

Charlie and Pepper are a bonded pair and need a quiet and loving home with a family who are willing to give them time to settle in, and who understands that Pepper may always be a timid and shy cat that likes her own space.
A home with no dogs and small children is preferred.

Ages:
Charlie is approximately 9 months
Pepper is approximately 1 year 6 months

Hershey

Hello, I’m little Miss Arwin. I am the kind of girl who is shy when you first meet me but am bursting with personality once you get to know me.
I would love to move into my forever pet free home with my brother, Hershey. I love that big doofus and would be really sad if we spilt.
I am an alarm clock at breakfast time, but as soon as I am fed I will proceed with my daily routine of checking on the neighbours through the window, pestering my big brother, chasing toys, getting scratchies from you.
We love kids as long they are not too loud or rough with us – a 4yo and 9 year old visit us regularly and I love playing with them.
And because I am such a pretty girl, I do love it when I get my hair brushed. I love flashing my pretty green eyes to get what I want.

Hi! I am the handsome good boy, Hershey. I am sure my sister has mentioned how cool I am. My sister and I have had a pretty hard life, so sudden loud noises or yelling could scare us. Please be extra patient with me.
I would love to move into my forever pet free home with my sister, Arwin. She talks too much but I would be really sad if we spilt. When we first move in with you, please keep us together as I will go looking for her and will get really worried if I can’t find her.
This is usually something I would disclose on our 5th date but there is something you should know about me, my tail was cut short when I was younger, but it is not the size that matters, I can wag and shake it when I am super excited. I am sporty for a kitty, I love chasing toys around and have amazing reflexes.
I am the perfect boy, I would sit and listen to you about your day as long as you are cuddling me, giving me scratchies or brushing my coat with a soft brush. I will come and check on you and make sure you are ok during the day.

Panko

Panko is an affectionate and playful little boy who loves his toys and cuddles.

He enjoys sitting on windowsills and watching the world go by with his blanket. He is very interested in the outside world and loves to adventure in his harness and lead for extra stimulation. He is the perfect couch companion and will curl up on your lap while you watch a movie or read a book. He is also a world class flooper and will happily lay anywhere especially when he can get a belly rub.

Panko came in as a stray cat and still has a few wild tendencies. He would be best suited to a home without children and other pets (at first, could be introduced once settled) and with a seasoned cat owner who will be able to understand his personality.

Panko is absolutely obsessed with food! It’s important to give him 3 meals a day (he loves the Applaws wet food) with some dry food to graze on. Once he feels safe and sure that he will never go hungry he will settle down about being fed. His morning meows are intense at first… but once he is more settled and feels safe in his new home this becomes less and less.
Panko is forever curious about his litter tray! It is a good idea at first to set up a couple for him so that he knows where he is supposed to go otherwise, he can get a little bit confused. This also has a lot to do with him getting used to his new environment, so a bit of patience is necessary. He loves to dig and make sure that he is covering up his business so I highly recommend using a mat underneath that can collect the litter that escapes. Panko would thrive if he had the option of an enclosed outdoor space! We would love for him to go to a forever home with a safe/secure outdoor space such as a cat run or enclosure.

Panko is a true sweetheart who deserves the best home! He has so much love to give and just wants to find his forever family so that he can love them unconditionally!
