Meaghan Adams
Meaghan manages the volunteer experience at the FFAR sanctuary and is an assistant to Saskia Adams. She also plays a vital role in undertaking various fundraising activities.
Meaghan’s commitment to animal rescue is inspired by the legions of FFAR volunteers who she has met, and by the daily proof she witnesses of the necessity for humans and animals to love and care for each other.
Meaghan believes that animals and humans share many aspects of sentience. The challenge for humanity is to learn the innate connection between humans and animals, and bridge the worldly gaps so that they share enriching experiences with each other.
The opportunity for FFAR, she believes, is to demonstrate to the wider community the benefits of this, giving animals better lives and showing people how to love and live with animals. The manifold advantages to people of all ages and life-stages to successfully have the company of a pet or animal companion, along with the animals’ often complete dependence on human guardians for survival is a message that FFAR can continue to promote both intellectually and in practice.
