Hi, I’m Gypsy. My foster parents have had me since September, and since then I have learned so much. I am total and crate trained and walk well on lead. I know a few commands such as – sit, wait, hand and down. My foster parents have been so patient and kind to me, which is exactly what I need (especially when I first settle in somewhere new). I can get a bit flustered in small spaces, so I would prefer to live in a home and would LOVE a backyard where I can lay in the sun. When I meet new people, I get very excited and have been known to jump. I calm down pretty easy though, I just need a reminder sometimes.
I’m used to city living now so I am used to lots of different sounds; however, I would prefer a quieter home. The one thing I don’t like: other dogs! I’ve been getting better, but I definitely need to be the only animal in your house. When walking on the street, if I see another dog I will bark and whine. I haven’t met kids or cats, but I have seen them and they haven’t fussed me too much. I’m fine to be left home alone and have never been destructive. I love to take naps and cuddle up in my blanket and bed. I also love when my humans give me cuddles and pats. They tell me I’m a good girl and that I’m going to be someone’s new best mate soon!
Gypsy is on Trazadone which will be tapered off once she has settled into her new home!
