This delightful boy is Chance, a Red Heeler who’s soon going to celebrate his 5th birthday!
Chance lives up to his name, as coming into rescue truly was his second chance at a good life. Chance was saved from an abusive owner, and was abandoned on a property for weeks alone before a pound intervened and took him into care. He came to us malnourished, scared, and in desperate need of love and medical care.
As you can see from the photos, he has blossomed and despite his hardships is a sweet natured, happy boy who absolutely loves cuddles, people, and playing with his toys.
Understandably Chance can be wary of meeting new humans until he’s sure they will treat him with kindness, so will thrive in a quieter home with owners who will do gentle introductions. He is great on lead and loves driving in the car.
He would love a homebody who lets him have the option of both inside & outside. He is also crate trained, has an amazing recall and is a great listener. The perfect home for Chance would be with no other animals, older kids (if any) and a family who are looking for a boy they can include in their activies and continue training to help strengthen their bond and help Chance be the best boy he can be.
– Ready to be loved
If you’d like to meet Chance he is located in Hallam with his foster family.
