*Yoyo must be rehomed with an existing resident dog*

Yoyo is a sweet, clever and playful little pup.

She is a timid girl, who takes comfort and gains confidence from other doggy companions so for this reason we’re looking for a home with a friendly, playful and confident resident dog (or two!) Yoyo will grow into a large dog so will need a decent sized yard to enjoy zoomies and fetch.

Yoyo, as her name suggests, is a bouncy and fun girl, her playful nature will keep you so entertained! She has lots of energy and will play for hours if she has a willing participant! She’s a pro at doggy body language though and knows when someone is not in the mood or has had enough.

While she absolutely loves other dogs, she does prefer slow introductions as she can get frightened and overwhelmed quickly. Once she’s comfortable, she’s a star. She currently attends doggy day care and while a little nervous about entering the group initially, she ends up having the time of her life!

Yoyo will be a breeze to train, she is so intelligent and attentive, and very food motivated! She is toilet trained, crate trained and has excellent recall. She has no separation anxiety and is fine to be left inside, outside, or in her crate whenever needed without fuss.

Yoyo would not be suited to a busy inner-city suburb. Encountering people on walks is still pretty scary to Yoyo so she prefers quiet walks on suburban streets or secluded bush walks where she can explore in peace and quiet and totally relax/unwind. She would absolutely thrive in a rural area!

She loves her humans but is shy and can take a little to warm up. Once she does though, she’s a velcro-dog and is oh-so affectionate!

She enjoys playing with kids and is great at fetch and tug-o-war. She can get a little nippy when she’s super excited so needs a bit of work on this if being rehomed with children. She has also lived with cats and did very well with them.
