I never thought I would have to write this.
For over 15 years, our volunteers have said ‘Yes’ whenever humanly possible.
But we are at breaking point.
There have never been such overwhelming numbers of animals in need on death-row as now. The calls and emails don’t stop coming.
💔 But without urgent support, we will be forced to close the doors to new animals in need.
We need to raise $50,000 in the next two weeks to cover essential veterinary care and outstanding costs – so we can keep our doors open to the most vulnerable animals in our community

Examples of our Vital Work
Archie
Archie is a puppy-farm survivor who arrived in our care completely shut down. He wouldn’t let his foster carer touch him for three months and was utterly terrified. Neglected and never walked, his teeth were rotten and all had to be removed. After 14 months of dedicated care, gentle handling, and rehabilitation, Archie finally grew confident enough to be adopted and start living the life he deserved.
Gus
Gus, a beautiful greyhound mix, had spent his whole life locked in a shed, only let out for hunting. He arrived at a rural pound emaciated and covered in scars. In our foster care, he flourished, gaining trust every day. Eventually, he was adopted by a woman who had previously taken in a long-term sanctuary dog — giving Gus the loving home he had always deserved.
VIOLET & HER KITTENS
Violet arrived at a local pound with her six one-week-old kittens, all battling flu. Her condition worsened, and we took over her care, where she required life-saving surgery, and vets discovered a ball of 27 hair ties in her stomach. She survived, and so did all her kittens. Today, Violet and her babies are thriving and healthy, and we are about to list them for adoption to find their forever homes.
LEXI & MILLIE
Lexi and Millie came from a puppy farm, completely shut down at just five years old. They had rotten teeth and wasted muscles from a lifetime in cages. Lexi was missing part of her ear, torn and healed over. We spent thousands on veterinary care and months rehabilitating them. Once they felt safe, they became gentle, loving dogs — and were adopted together, finally living the life they deserve.
