Maple is a ball of fluffy grey and opposites. Although she is happy to spend her day snoozing in another room or while you work, she adores sleeping at the foot of the bed and getting plenty of head rubs and scratches. She can be wonderfully soft and gentle but quickly turn into a rough-housing kicker. Sometimes she likes to be carried about the room, other times she prefers to keep all four feet on the ground. She is also quite a clever cat who will quickly understand your routine.
Maple will need a home that understands she has been under-socialised, meaning she struggles to express what she wants so can be too rough when she has had enough pats or wants to play. Maple is easy to read when she wants to be left alone, usually giving plenty of tail flicks and opening her mouth in warning. She can be a biter and will need a forever home that is willing to continue to work on her play time skills to not include fingers and hands! She adores her bunny kicker toy and anything dangling on a string so can be easily redirected during play if she focuses her claws on you.
She gets along well with other playful big cats and has lived with a dog (although she would prefer a less in-her-face one). She would not suit a home with kids due to her rough play. Maple is a large cat with lovely long fur so would benefit from occasional brushing.
