Rodent problem? Or want a challenge to work for a cat’s affection? Meet brother and sister Penny and Nate.

Penny and Nate love living with humans, but aren’t too fond of being touched by them. You probably expect that in your cats, right?. So, they’re looking for a home on a rural property, farm, grainstore, warehouse or factory, where they can be Chief Rodent Controllers, without being expected to ‘cuddle on request’.

Adopt them and ditch the poison. They’ll patrol your property and deter rodents, while looking gorgeous and giving you company.

Alternatively, if you’re a kind altruistic soul, and want to adopt two cats-in-need to simply give them a safe and loving home, they will be ideal. Over time, they may well want to ‘cuddle on request.’

They both enjoy a snooze on their foster carer’s bed and Nate just loves the company of other cats. Penny occasionally enjoys being patted, and will cuddle into her carer’s back on a cold night. Open a packet of salt and vinegar chips and she will come running!

They love cuddling together on their favourite chair or finding a beam of sunlight to bask in.

If adopted as working cats (rather than decorative cats), Penny and Nate need meals twice daily, 24 hour access to shelter and fresh water and veterinary care when needed.

Depending on where you live, we may be able to help you humanely trap them when they need to go to the vet, if they haven’t succumbed to your charms.

If you have a property where you think Penny and Nate would be happy and you’re willing to provide for their needs, please contact us today. Their adoption fees are heavily discounted. And, of course, they come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and vet-checked.

Penny and Nate are in foster care in Geelong. They are brother and sister and must be adopted together. Two working cats are better than one!
